About the Author

Vijainder K. Thakur is a retired Indian Air Force Jaguar pilot who served for 20 years. Following his premature retirement from the IAF, he worked in the information technology industry as a software architect.

Drawing on his experience in military aviation, technology, and systems engineering, he writes on defense affairs, military aviation, drone warfare, emerging technologies, and geopolitics.
